Fall 2025: Last Gel Monoprinting Workshop Wednesday, December 10, 2025

Happy Holidays everyone,

Well our last class of Fall 2025 is now over. Hope everyone enjoyed the class. Below is a quick recap of the cards we made in class.

Floral Best Wishes: Brayer green distress oxide inks onto gel plate and place leave stencil on top. Place white paper over top and rub well to transfer pattern. Lift & remove stencil and brayer gel plate with left over inks and replace print onto gel plate to add more color to background print. Die cut print and adhere to gold mat. Add ribbon and adhere to ivory card base.
Sea Creatures Birthday: Brayer various blue distress oxide inks and use bubble wrap to add bubbles onto gel plate. Place paper onto top and rub well before pulling print. Die cut shape and stamp sea creatures with warm breeze Versafine Clair ink. Stamp sea weeds and corals on bottom edge. Place sun rays stencil toward the top and lightly sponge with same ink. Adhere panel onto blue mat before adhering to white card base. Aad sticker sentiment and gems to finish card as shown.
Sunflower Hello: Place sunflower stencil onto gel plate and brush on orange, yellow & green Perfect Pearl powders. Wipe off all excess powders using paper towel. Remove stencil and brayer on a thin layer of gold acrylic paint. Place paper on top and rub really well before pulling print. Die cut frame and adhere onto green mat. Wrap ribbon around and adhere to white card base. Adhere die cut 'Hello' to finish card.
Mermaid Birthday: Place wave stencil onto gel plate and brush on green perfect pearl powder. Clean off all excess powder and remove stencil. Brayer blue metallic acrylic paint on top and place paper over. Rub really well and pull print. Die cut frame and stamp sea weeds with blue StazOn ink. Adhere pint onto light blue card base. Stamp mermaid with black ink onto watercolor panel and color with watercolor pencils. Die cut mermaid and adhere onto card front. Add gems and sentiment to finish.

Butterflies Birthday: Stamp and heat emboss butterflies with white embossing powder on watercolor paper panel. Spray water onto panel and apply purple & pink watercolor makers. Spray more water as needed to disperse the colors. Dry panel and adhere onto purple mate. Emboss large white panel with embossing folder and adhere to the front of purple card base. Add gems, ribbon and stamp sentiment onto the front as shown.
Orchid Thank You: Place heart stencil onto white card panel and sponge on Warm Breeze Versafine Clair ink. Stamp orchids & vase with the same ink on top. Adhere to cyan mat before adhering to white card base. Add gems, bow and sticker sentiment to finish card as shown.
Angel Fish Birthday-Front: Stamp fish, sea weeds, ripples & bubbles using tri-color Brilliance stamp pad. Sponge ground with blue ink. Adhere stamp panel on cyan mat before adhering to the card front. Stamp sentiment with same blue ink on white card stock and punch out with circle punch.

Berries Birthday-Front: Apply green & gold alcohol inks onto glossy white card panel. Emboss panel with berries embossing folder. Emboss the front white card panel with the same embossing folder. Emboss the side panel of yellow card base with leaves embossing folder.

Berries Birthday-Open:  Add bow, gems and sentiment stickers and assemble card together as shown

Fall 2025: Gel Monoprinting Workshop Wednesday, November 19, 2025

Below is a quick recap of the cards we made in class. Our last Gel Printing class for the Fall session will be on Wednesday, December 10, 2025.

Silver Emboss Deer: Place snowflakes stencil onto gel plate and brush iridescent Perfect Pearl powder on top to add snowflake images onto gel plate. Wipe off any excess powder and remove stencil. Brayer a thin layer of blue metallic acrylic paint. Place paper on top, rub well and pull print. Die cut print with rectangular frame die. Stamp deer background image with VersaMark ink and apply silver embossing powder. Use heat gun to heat emboss image and adhere to black mat before adhering to white card base. Add silver sticker sentiment to finish as shown.

Turkey on Leaves Background: Brayer Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed & Peeled Paint Distress inks onto gel plate. Stamp leaves image onto gel plate and place paper on top. Rub well and pull print. Die cut print using shape die. Brayer Tea Dye and Vintage Photo onto gel plate. Place turkey die cut onto gel plate to pick up color from gel plate. Brayer more of the same color on top to color turkey. Adhere turkey onto background print before adhering onto burgundy mat and ivory card base. Add stamped sentiment, bow and wiggly eye to finish card as shown.

Dragonfly Flower Wreath: Brayer Twisted Citron, Cracked Pistachio & Wilted Violet Distress Oxide inks onto gel plate. Place stencil and then paper on top. Rub well to pull print. Brayer remaining inks onto gel plate and place the print back onto gel plate to add more colors to the background. Die cut with shape die and stamp image with black ink. Color image with Prismacolor pencils and brush with clear Ink of Stella to add shimmer. Adhere print onto black mat before adding to lime green card base. Add sticker sentiment and bow to finish.

Oceans of Happiness: Brayer Salty Ocean, Speckled Egg, Antique Linen and Brushed Corduroy Distress Oxide inks onto gel plate. Place paper on top, rub well and pull print. Die cut with shape frame. Stamp seashells with black ink onto watercolor paper. Color with Intense Watercolor pencils and blend with water brush. Die cut with coordinated shell dies. Stamp and punch out sentiment. Assemble card together onto white card base as shown.
