Winter Card Making Class - January 11 & 14, 2023

Happy 2023 all!

It was great to see everyone again.

Below is a recap of the cards we made in our first class. A preview of the cards we will be making at our next class meetings (Wed. 1/25 & Sat. 1/28) are also included at the end of this post. See you then.

Valentine Card Front: Score 8.5" x 5.5" red base card at 1.25" and 4.25", adhere pattern papers as shown.

Valentine Card Inside & Belly Band: Adhere pattern paper and white card stock as shown. Wrap & adhere belly band together. Stamp ladybug & sentiment on white card stock, punch out label, color & adhere to the belly band. Tie ribbon as shown.

Orange & Gold Butterflies: Stamp butterflies on white card stock as shown. Color open areas of butterflies with white Prismacolor pencil for resists. Sponge Memento Tangelo & Dandelion inks around butterflies. Tie ribbon & assemble card together as shown.

Embossed Thinking of You Card: Emboss kraft card panel with floral embossing folder, sponge pearl ink on top. Wrap ribbon, stamp sentiment and assemble card as shown.

Birthday Washi Card: Wrap coordinating Washi tapes around white card stock as shown. Stamp & punch out sentiment, wrap bakers twine and finish off card as shown.
