Spring Card Making - May 4 & 6, 2023

Here is a quick recap of the cards we made last week. Our Summer Session will begin after July 4th. I will email you the web link when it is available.

Peach Flower Vase: Adhere vase sticker to black card panel; Color the entire vase image with White Prismacolor pencil before adding any other colors to the image; Punch leaves and add flowers and gems above the vase; Add corner stickers and sentiment sticker to finish card as shown.

Double Embossed Sunshine: Emboss white card panel with detail embossing folder; Deboss the same panel with diamond grid embossing folder; Lightly rub Lilac Posie Memento ink pad over the entire panel catching only the raised area; Stamp & punch out sentiment; Embellish with ribbon and gems to finish card as shown.

Embossed Butterfly: Stamp and heat emboss butterfly with gold embossing powder; Brush background with blue & purple watercolor; Embellish with ribbon, gems and sentiment sticker; Assemble card as shown.

Reversed Flower Stencil: Sponge Dandelion, Lady Bug & Lilac Posie Memento inks all over white panel; Tape flower stencil on top of inked panel; Sponge Paris Dusk over open areas of stencil; Remove stencil and embellish with ribbon, butterfly and stamped sentiment to finish card as shown.

Spring Gel Printing - May 3, 2023

Hello ladies,

Our Spring Session has come and gone. Below is a quick recap of the cards we made last week. Our Summer Session will start after July 4th. I will email everyone the web link when it is available.

Blue & Purple Butterflies: Place white card panel in embossing folder to emboss butterflies; Brayer blue and purple metallic paint on gel plate; Place embossed card panel on top and rub over the entire panel to pick up paint. Lift print and embellish with gems and ribbon to finish card as shown.

Lotus & Dragonfly: Place stencil on gel plate; apply chalk colors on image as desired; Remove stencil and brayer a layer of metallic acrylic paint; place paper and rub all over the entire surface; Lift print; die cut stitch frame and embellish card as shown.

Gold & Coral Floral: Brayer gold & coral paint on to gel plate; place embossed floral cardboard on top; rub the raised embossed areas to transfer the images; remove embossed floral cardboard; place white copy paper and rub all over the entire surface and lift print; Die cut with stitch die and assemble card with gems, ribbon & sentiment as shown.

Image Transfer: Brayer desired color acrylic paint onto gel plate; Place white copy paper and rub all over to lift background color; Brayer black paint onto clean plate; Add magazine image on top and rub all over to transfer image and lift to reveal the transferred image; Immediately place the color background sheet over gel plate; Rub all over to lift image onto the color background; Die cut frame and finish card as shown.
