Hello ladies,
Hope you had a wonderful Valentine's Day! Below are the cards we made from our last class. This first card was made by cutting notches out of each one inch pattern paper strips and glue down to brown card panel. Wrap brown threads around twice and tie a bow on one side. Glue button flowers and add pearls on top of flowers. Finish off with silver sticker.
This next card was made by adhering the strip of pattern paper across before adhering the die cut polka dots panel onto white card base. Glue gingham flowers on each corner. Glue die cut sentiment in center to finish card.
This rose Iris Folding card was made by cutting out the rose head out of the embossed white panel and follow the iris pattern starting with the order of pink rose, solid pink, solid green, and pink stripe paper strips. Cut out leaves and stem from green paper and glue on top. Tape the finished iris rose onto rose pattern paper and tape everything onto white card base.
This fish Iris Folding card was made by first covering the head, fins and tail sections using the dark green pattern paper. Then, using dark green and rusty pattern paper paper strips to follow the iris folding pattern in alternate orders. Tape the finished fish onto dark brown card panel before adhering onto white card base. Add gold sticker sentiment to finish card.
That's all for now. No class next Monday due to President's Day. Have a great week and see you on Monday March 3rd!
