New Fall Card Making Session started Monday September 29, 2014

Hello ladies,

Hope you had a great Summer staying cool!  Welcome back to our card making class everyone!  Glad to see all the familiar faces and welcome to a couple of our new students.  Below is a recap from our last class.

This fall leaves card was made by first embossing the sentiment at the bottom of a white card panel using a Cuttlebug folder and running through the Sizzix machine.  Then stamp the leaves on using Tim Hotz distressed ink.  Add burgundy ribbon as shown and tape white panel onto burgundy card stock before adhering it to kraft card base.

This next card was made by stamping the floral envelope with Staz On black ink onto a watercolor paper.  Using color markers and water brush, dilute the colors before painting onto the image.  Adhere the watercolor paper onto a pink card stock, tie a sheer cream ribbon around and adhere at a angle onto a white card base as shown.  Punch out a 1" circle and add sticker sentiment.
This card was made by running the beige background card panel through the Sizzix machine with a Cuttlebug embossing panel.  Sponge the edges of the panel with brown ink.  Glue the die cut branch with bird onto the background panel.  Using glue dots, add the silk leaves as shown.  Add a brown sheer ribbon on top.  Punch out a green scallop circle and add sticker sentiment.
This last card was made by inserting the butterfly punch all the way in and on the center of the cream card stock.  Find the center of the short end and measure up 1" from the bottom edge.  Draw the diagonal lines from each corner to the center and cut out. Tape the cream panel onto the green floral background paper, tie a pink ribbon as shown and tape everything onto a cream card base.  Add sticker sentiment to finish.
That's all for now.  See you next Monday October 13, 2014 at 12:30 p.m.  Have a great week!
