October 13, 2014 Card Making Class

Hello ladies,

Hope you had a great weekend and looking forward to another wonderful week!
This first card was made using the Sizzix witch die with neon green as the base and die cutting again using black, orange and striped paper for hats, gown, boot, broom, hair and pants, respectively. The broom handle was applied with some Opalite ink to give that shimmery look.  Glue witch onto purple card panel and adhere to ivory card base.  Add 'beware' sticker to finish card.

This Thankful card was made by stamping the turkey, acorn and leaf using color ink on white card stock and punch out using 1" circle punch.  Adhere to color circle panels and adhere to white card base with foam tape.  The bottom leaves paper was first punched out using Fiskar scallop border punch and adhere to the bottom of card base.  Stamp 'Thankful' on white card stock and punch out using label punch.  Adhere with foam tape at the bottom right.
This pumpkin was made by cutting out the pumpkin using Sizzix pumpkin die out of polka dots green card panel.  Turn panel to the back and using easy folding pattern to layer ribbons as shown starting with the green stem and alternate between orange and red ribbons.  Turn card back to the front and add leaf and green bow as shown.  Wrap ribbon at bottom of panel before adhering to orange panel using double-sides tape.  Adhere the finish panel onto ivory card base to finish.
This daisy card was made by stamping the daisy stamp with red ink onto white card panel about 1/3 way up from the bottom of panel.  Stamp again two more times without re-inking to add depth.  Adhere black glitter panel to the bottom of white panel.  Wrap ribbon around and tie knot as shown.  Stamp birthday sentiment with red ink and punch out with ticket punch and adhere to bottom panel as shown.  Adhere the finish panel onto burgundy card base to finish.
Well that's it for now.  Have a great week and see you next Monday!
