Winter 2026: Gel Monoprinting Workshop on Wednesday, January 21, 2026

Seahorses on Distress Oxide Inks: Brayer Tumble Glass & Twisted Citron Distress Oxide inks onto gel plate. Use a fan brush to sprinkle some water drops on the gel plate and place a piece of multi-media card panel on top to pick up the color background. Die cut panel using stitch rectangle die and stamp main seahorse image with black ink. Stamp smaller seahorse shadows with Speckled Egg Distress Oxide ink onto background. Color images with Prismacolor pencils. Adhere panel onto card base and add sticker sentiment to finish.

Giraffe on Distress Inks Background: Brayer Mustard Seed & Peeled Paint Distress inks onto gel plate. Stamp un-inked background leaves stamp onto gel plate. Remove and place white paper onto gel plate to pull background print. Die cut panel using stitch rectangle die and stamp the first giraffe image with Rich Cocoa Memento ink. Stamp second giraffe image with Cantaloupe Memento ink on top. Stamp leaves and grass onto background with Mowed Lawn Distress ink. Sponge ground and edges with same Mowed Lawn ink. Adhere panel onto green mat before adding onto white card base and add sticker sentiment to finish.

Perfect Pearl Acrylic Love: Place swirl stencil onto gel plate and brush on gold Perfect Pearl powder to add design onto plate. Wipe off excess powder and apply a thin coat of red acrylic paint onto gel plate. Place paper and rub well before pulling print. Die cut panel using shape die. Adhere heart washi paper on the side edges of the ivory card base. Adhere the red die cut panel and floral heart die cut in the center. Add gold gems to finish.

St. Patrick Botanical Leaves: Brayer a thin layer of gold acrylic paint onto gel plate and place leaves on top. Place a piece of scratch paper over, press and rub all over, especially to open areas between the leaves. Remove scratch paper and leaves and let the gold paint dry completely. Brayer a thin layer of green acrylic paint on top and place paper over, rub and pull print. Die cut print with leaves and rectangular frame dies. Adhere green die cut panel onto gold mat. Tie ribbon around panel and adhere onto ivory card base. Stamp sentiment and punch out shape. Adhere sentiment and shamrock confetti onto card to finish as shown.

Winter 2026: Handmade Greeting Cards Workshops on Wednesday, January 14 and Saturday, January 17, 2026

Triple Layer Stamping Sea Creatures: Use temporary tape to tape down all 3 white card panels and stamp images using Versafine Clair inks. Leaving the panels in tack, lightly brush Bahama Blue Memento ink all around and over the background. Separate the stamped panels and adhere each panel onto its blue mat. Adhere each stamped panel with mat on top of each other to line up the stamped images before adhering to blue card base. Add gems to finish as shown.
Alcohol Inks Butterflies: Add blue, pink & purple alcohol inks and some blending solution onto felt applicator. Apply inks from the applicator onto Yupo paper by light twisting and stamping motion, but not over blending the colors. Apply Alcohol Lift ink onto butterflies stamp and stamp onto the colored Yupo paper. Place clean paper towel onto stamped area to gently soak up the Alcohol Lift ink from the Yupo paper to reveal the stamped butterflies. Adhere panel onto pink card base and add gems & sticker sentiment to finish.

Embossed Floral Heart: Place vellum and pink card panel together into floral heart embossing folder and run through machine to emboss image. Color the flowers and leaves from the back of the embossed vellum using Distress Oxide inks. Adhere the colored vellum onto embossed pink card panel together before adhering onto white card base. Add bow and sticker sentiment to finish card as shown.

Fun Fold Cherry Blossom - Close: Stamp and color cherry blossom with watercolor pencils and adhere onto green mat. Emboss the front panel of the bright pink card base with cherry blossom embossing folder. 

Fun Fold Cherry Blossom - Open: Assemble card together as shown and add pink bow in the top left corner of cherry blossom panel. Adhere floral washi tapes at each end of the card base to finish.

Fall 2025: Last Gel Monoprinting Workshop Wednesday, December 10, 2025

Floral Best Wishes: Brayer green distress oxide inks onto gel plate and place leave stencil on top. Place white paper over top and rub well to transfer pattern. Lift & remove stencil and brayer gel plate with left over inks and replace print onto gel plate to add more color to background print. Die cut print and adhere to gold mat. Add ribbon and adhere to ivory card base.
Sea Creatures Birthday: Brayer various blue distress oxide inks and use bubble wrap to add bubbles onto gel plate. Place paper onto top and rub well before pulling print. Die cut shape and stamp sea creatures with warm breeze Versafine Clair ink. Stamp sea weeds and corals on bottom edge. Place sun rays stencil toward the top and lightly sponge with same ink. Adhere panel onto blue mat before adhering to white card base. Aad sticker sentiment and gems to finish card as shown.
Sunflower Hello: Place sunflower stencil onto gel plate and brush on orange, yellow & green Perfect Pearl powders. Wipe off all excess powders using paper towel. Remove stencil and brayer on a thin layer of gold acrylic paint. Place paper on top and rub really well before pulling print. Die cut frame and adhere onto green mat. Wrap ribbon around and adhere to white card base. Adhere die cut 'Hello' to finish card.
Mermaid Birthday: Place wave stencil onto gel plate and brush on green perfect pearl powder. Clean off all excess powder and remove stencil. Brayer blue metallic acrylic paint on top and place paper over. Rub really well and pull print. Die cut frame and stamp sea weeds with blue StazOn ink. Adhere pint onto light blue card base. Stamp mermaid with black ink onto watercolor panel and color with watercolor pencils. Die cut mermaid and adhere onto card front. Add gems and sentiment to finish.

Butterflies Birthday: Stamp and heat emboss butterflies with white embossing powder on watercolor paper panel. Spray water onto panel and apply purple & pink watercolor makers. Spray more water as needed to disperse the colors. Dry panel and adhere onto purple mate. Emboss large white panel with embossing folder and adhere to the front of purple card base. Add gems, ribbon and stamp sentiment onto the front as shown.
Orchid Thank You: Place heart stencil onto white card panel and sponge on Warm Breeze Versafine Clair ink. Stamp orchids & vase with the same ink on top. Adhere to cyan mat before adhering to white card base. Add gems, bow and sticker sentiment to finish card as shown.
Angel Fish Birthday-Front: Stamp fish, sea weeds, ripples & bubbles using tri-color Brilliance stamp pad. Sponge ground with blue ink. Adhere stamp panel on cyan mat before adhering to the card front. Stamp sentiment with same blue ink on white card stock and punch out with circle punch.

Berries Birthday-Front: Apply green & gold alcohol inks onto glossy white card panel. Emboss panel with berries embossing folder. Emboss the front white card panel with the same embossing folder. Emboss the side panel of yellow card base with leaves embossing folder.

Berries Birthday-Open:  Add bow, gems and sentiment stickers and assemble card together as shown

Fall 2025: Gel Monoprinting Workshop Wednesday, November 19, 2025

Silver Emboss Deer: Place snowflakes stencil onto gel plate and brush iridescent Perfect Pearl powder on top to add snowflake images onto gel plate. Wipe off any excess powder and remove stencil. Brayer a thin layer of blue metallic acrylic paint. Place paper on top, rub well and pull print. Die cut print with rectangular frame die. Stamp deer background image with VersaMark ink and apply silver embossing powder. Use heat gun to heat emboss image and adhere to black mat before adhering to white card base. Add silver sticker sentiment to finish as shown.

Turkey on Leaves Background: Brayer Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed & Peeled Paint Distress inks onto gel plate. Stamp leaves image onto gel plate and place paper on top. Rub well and pull print. Die cut print using shape die. Brayer Tea Dye and Vintage Photo onto gel plate. Place turkey die cut onto gel plate to pick up color from gel plate. Brayer more of the same color on top to color turkey. Adhere turkey onto background print before adhering onto burgundy mat and ivory card base. Add stamped sentiment, bow and wiggly eye to finish card as shown.

Dragonfly Flower Wreath: Brayer Twisted Citron, Cracked Pistachio & Wilted Violet Distress Oxide inks onto gel plate. Place stencil and then paper on top. Rub well to pull print. Brayer remaining inks onto gel plate and place the print back onto gel plate to add more colors to the background. Die cut with shape die and stamp image with black ink. Color image with Prismacolor pencils and brush with clear Ink of Stella to add shimmer. Adhere print onto black mat before adding to lime green card base. Add sticker sentiment and bow to finish.

Oceans of Happiness: Brayer Salty Ocean, Speckled Egg, Antique Linen and Brushed Corduroy Distress Oxide inks onto gel plate. Place paper on top, rub well and pull print. Die cut with shape frame. Stamp seashells with black ink onto watercolor paper. Color with Intense Watercolor pencils and blend with water brush. Die cut with coordinated shell dies. Stamp and punch out sentiment. Assemble card together onto white card base as shown.

Fall 2025: Handmade Greeting Cards Workshops on Wednesday, November 12 and Saturday, November 22, 2025

Hello everyone,

Hope you are doing well and staying dry. Below is a recap of the cards we made in class.

Our last Card Making class meeting for the Fall Session will be on December 3 (Wednesday's class) and December 6 (Saturday's class). See you in class.

Heart Wedding Iris Folding: Follow Iris pattern provided to assemble the heart together. Adhere onto black mat before adhering on top of red card base. Add bow and sticker sentiment and rings to finish card as shown.
Watercolor Lilac on Emboss Vellum: Emboss lavender vellum piece with vines embossing folder. Stamp Lilac with Watercan Archival ink onto watercolor paper. Color image with watercolor pencils and blend with water brush. Cut out image and adhere onto vellum panel. Adhere vellum panel onto white card base by placing glue behind the image and gems so the glue won't show through the vellum. Add bow, gems and sticker sentiment to finish card as shown.

Distress Mica Stain Emboss Poinsettia: Spray Lemon Zest Dylusions ink, Holly Branch & Peppermint Stick Distress Mica Stain on to watercolor panel. Let dry and place panel into Poinsettia 3D Embossing Folder to emboss poinsettia images. Using sponge dauber to apply some gold ink onto the center of poinsettias. Adhere panel to gold mat and onto folded red card base.
Distress Mica Stain Emboss Poinsettia-Open: Adhere gold snowflake stickers on the side of the card base. Add ribbon, gems and sentiment sticker to the front of the card.
Fun Fold Seascape Birthday - Front: Fold stripe card stock along fold line and glue together as shown in image below. Stamp sentiment, seashells and sailboat onto white card panel and punch out using 2" circle punch. Adhere image circles onto blue die cut circles before adhering onto folded card as shown. Tie blue baker twine around the first folded panel and tie bow as shown.
Fun Fold Seaside Birthday - Open: Adhere folded panel onto blue card base and adhere white card panel onto back stripe card panel as shown.

Fall 2025: Gel Monoprinting Workshop Wednesday, November 5, 2025

Hello everyone,

Hope you are doing well. Below is a quick recap of the cards we made in class. There are two classes remaining for this Fall session, November 19 and December 10, 2025. Please note there will be no classes during the Thanksgiving week.

Embossed Dragonflies: Brayer Antique Linen & Victorian Velvet Distress Oxide inks onto gel plate. Place flower stencil on top and place scrap over to rub stencil images onto gel plate. Remove scrap paper and stencil and place white paper onto gel plate. Rub well and pull print. Die cut print with shape die. Stamp and heat emboss dragonflies & sentiment onto print panel. Adhere panel on to rose card base. Add gems and bow to finish as shown.
Stencil & Color Friend: Brayer Scattered Straw & Twisted Citron Distress Oxide inks onto gel plate. Place leaves stencil on top and place white paper over. Rub well to transfer leaves images onto white paper for background print. Stamp image onto print with Portobello VersaFine Clair ink. Die cut with rectangular die and color images with Prismacolor pencils. Adhere panel onto black mat before adhering to yellow card base. Add gems and sticker sentiment to finish card as shown.
Watercolor Lighthouse: Scribble green and blue Distress Watercolor Crayons onto gel plate and mist gel plate with water. Place wave stencil on top and place mixed media card panel over. Rub well for a few minutes to let the watercolor soak into card panel. Remove and dry card panel. Cut panel down to size and adhere behind lighthouse die cut panel before adhering to white card base. Add stamp sentiment to finish.
Jelly Fish on Acrylic: Brayer lavender & purple metallic acrylic paints onto gel plate and place white paper on top to pull 1st print. Brayer green metallic, light and dark blue acrylic paints onto gel plate. Place jelly fish die cut in the middle of the painted gel plate to act as a mask and place the 1st print back onto gel plate. Rub well and full the final print. Let dry before cutting print with rectangular stitch die. Stamp jelly fish image onto the purple jelly fish silhouette with black ink. Adhere print onto white mat before adhering onto aqua card base. Color jelly fish with shimmer pen, add gems and sticker sentiment to finish.
