Spring 2026: Last Gel Monoprinting Workshop on Wednesday, May 27, 2026

Hello everyone,

Hope you are enjoying the nice sunny weather. Below is a quick recap of the cards we made in our last class. The Summer Gel Monoprinting session will start on Wednesday, July 15 at Rancho Del Mar Campus. Monet Inspired Irises: Stamp Irises onto gel plate using black StazOn ink. Brayer light blue, royal blue & purple acrylic paints on top of stamped images. Place paper over gel plate, rub well and pull print. Die cut print with rectangular die. Color irises using chalk color pencils. Adhere print onto black mat before adhering onto ivory card base.
Sea Life w/ Distress Oxide Inks: Brayer Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean & Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide inks onto gel plate. Place bubble wrap on top and press in bubbles. Remove bubble wrap and place paper on top to pull print. Die cut print with stitch rectangle die. Stamp sea life and seaweed images with black ink. Adhere onto black mat before adhering onto gray card base. Add gems and sticker sentiment to finish card.
Lilacs w/ Distress Inks: Brayer Squeezed Lemonade, Picked Raspberry & Peeled Paint onto gel plate. Place paper on top and pull print. Stamp lilac blossoms & leave with black ink. Die cut print with stitch rectangle and adhere onto black mat before adhering onto green card base. Add gems and stamp sentiment to finish.
Die Cut Butterfly: Brayer Mustard Seed & Spiced Marmalade onto gel plate and stamp floral lacy image on top. Die cut print with rectangle and butterfly dies. Adhere die cut print behind ivory intricate die cut panel and adhere onto green mat before adhering onto ivory card base. Adhere die cut butterfly behind black intricate butterfly die cut. Glue butterfly and sentiment die cuts onto card front. Add gems to butterfly body to finish.
