Hello ladies,
It was great to see all the familiar faces as well as a couple of newcomers at our first Fall class. Wow, eleven pupils signed up! Welcome back everyone!
Below are the cards we made in class in case someone needs to reference to them to add the finished touches.
This first cupcake card was done by gluing the pink and green striped pattern paper onto the bottom of a white card base. The cupcake was done by crimping the pink card stock for the bottom of the cupcake and glue to the felt chocolate felt cake. The cupcake was then glued to the green die cut shape and taped onto the left of the card base. Green blings and gold sticker sentiment were added as shown to finish the card.
This pumpkin card below was made by stamping the pumpkins onto red, orange and yellow card stocks and cut out. The green ribbons were tied into simple knots and glued to the front of the pumpkins with glue dots. Use white gel pen to draw dash lines around the green panel and glue to ivory card base. Glue the orange pumpkin directly onto green card panel, and then add the yellow and red pumpkins to card as shown with foam tape. Stamp sentiment with olive green ink onto ivory card stock and punch out shape. Punch out a second shape with green card stock, cut in half and adhere to the back to frame the ivory punch shape.
The fall leaves card below was made by adding gold leaf stickers randomly onto gold leaves pattern paper, glued on top of burgundy card stock, and glued onto white card base. The gold sticker sentiment was placed onto a punched 1-3/8 inch circle out of gold leaves pattern paper and glued onto a punched scallop circle out of burgundy card stock. Foam tape was used to tape the scallop sentiment to the bottom right of card. Three orange beads were added to the top right corner to finish the card.
The Halloween card below was made by gluing pattern papers onto card base as shown. The purple Happy Halloween ribbon was taped to cover the seam. The die cut moon and cat was glued onto card as shown.
I guess these cards were too simple. Everyone finished early! I usually keep the first class meeting simple since I can never be sure how many people will actually show up. Don't worry, I will make it up at our next class. Have a good week everyone. See you at our next class meeting on October 1st!
