October 29, 2012 Greeting Card Making Class

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Sorry for not posting earlier.  I was taking a break since we didn't have class last week.  Looks like I took a little too long a break.  Below are the cards we made almost a month ago!

This first Thanksgiving card was made by punching a bunch of these leaves out of yellow, gold, orange and green card stocks using Martha Stewart punch.  Glue them around a circle to resemble a wreath.  Add brown blings sparingly.  Stamp 'Happy Turkey Day' with green ink and punch out using Martha Steward scallop circle punch.  Adhere leaves pattern paper on the side and add ribbon as shown to finish.

The birthday card below was made by stamping Happy Birthday balloons on white card panel, color with markers as shown.  Adhere onto pink card panel and rose card base as shown.  Tie bow and adhere with glue dot to finish.
This wedding card was made by adhering the silver couple and sentiment stickers onto white card panel and adhere onto blue card panel.  Punch border on the larger blue card panel using Fiskars border punch and adhere blue pattern paper as shown.  Tie white sheer ribbon around the panel into a knot and adhere onto white card base. Add the sticker panel on top as shown to finish card.
This Christmas card was made by adhering the pattern paper onto white card panel and wrap plaid ribbon around the bottom of white panel.  Adhere panel onto red card base.  Add candy cane onto center of card and add red blings at 4 corners.  Stamp greeting sentiment on white card stock and punch out using Fiskars scallop oval punch.  Adhere onto top of ribbon using foam tape to finish card.
That's it for now.  Our next class is this coming Monday!  Hope everyone had a relaxing weekend after the Thanksgiving feast!  See you all on Monday!
