October 14 & 28, 2013 Card Making Classes

Hello ladies,

Sorry for the delay.  This post is long overdue.  I'm combining the last two classes together since I missed my last post.

Below are the cards from our October 14 class:

This autumn leaf card was made using the die cut leaf from the negative part of the leaf card made in the September card class.  The die cut was sponged with red brick ink all around the edges.  Stamp swirls onto beige card panel using gingerbread ink and attach stamped panel onto gingerbread card stock..  Finally adhere the panel onto beige card base and finish off with the sentiment and a string bow.
This birthday bear card was made by adhering the various pattern paper panels as shown.  Wrap the string around and tie into knot before adhering the bottom panel.  Adhere the metal bear with large glue dots.  Finish off with faux brats on each corner and gold sticker sentiment at the bottom left.
This iris folding bauble was made by cutting out the image using Spellbinder ornament die.  Layer the strips of pattern papers following the pattern.  Matt the iris panel onto red card stock using double-sided tape before adhering onto white card base.  Punch out 2 holy leaves and glue on the top of the ornament.  Add 3 red gems to finish off the card as shown.
This floral card was made by punch 6 five-petal flowers and sponged all edges.  Adhere pattern polka dot panel onto beige card stock.  Wrap pink ribbon around before adhering onto pink card base.  Punch 3 leave clusters out of olive green card stock.  Adhere 2 flowers on top of each other as shown.  Add black beads in center of flowers and glue leaves as shown.  Add sticker sentiment to finish card.
Below are the cards from our October 28 class:

This dragonflies card was made by coloring a watercolor card panel with green and blue watercolor pencils in alternating pattern as shown.  Using a water brush, brush over the watercolor pencil areas to wash out color as shown.  Let dry before adding the dragonflies stickers on top.  Tie aqua sheer ribbon around card Punch out border of aqua card panel on one side and adhere to white card base.  Adhere watercolor panel onto card as shown.  Add aqua gems and sentiment to finish.
This cupcake birthday card was made by adhering the ivory panel onto stripe pattern paper and onto the large background paper before adhering onto ivory card base.  Punch an ivory circle and a green scallop circle.  Glue together and adhere a wooden cupcake with large glue onto circle as shown.  Adhere the scallop onto card and add sticker sentiment to finish card.
This wreath card was make by punch 24 small scallop circle out of double-sided green card stock.  Adhere the candy cane pattern paper onto green card panel before adhering it to the ivory card base.  Arrange the green scallop circle in alternate pattern onto a 2" ivory card circle to form a wreath.  Adhere a red & gold ribbon bow onto wreath with glue dot as shown.  Finish off with sentiment sticker.
This angel card was made by adhering the pattern paper onto green card base as shown.  Punch out angel from white card stock.  Then using a circle punch upside down, center the punched angel to punch out circle.  Punch square label out of read card stock.  Using foam tape, tape angel circle onto red label and tape label onto pattern paper as shown.  Glue a gold ribbon bow onto card with glue dot  Stamp sentiment with red ink onto white card stock.  Center and punch out stamped sentiment using label punch.  Punch out another label with red card stock.  Cut in half lengthwise and tape behind sentiment to create a border as shown.  Adhere the sentiment panel with foam tape onto card to finish.
