Hope you had a great July 4th weekend! Below is a recap of the cards we made in our first class and a preview of the cards for Monday July 11th.
Hopefully, you all had a chance to check out the how to videos from Gelli Plate that I emailed last week. I will keep my caption for the cards brief assuming that you know what "lift print" means. If not, please email me. Have a great weekend!

Floral Thanks: Apply drops of pink dye reinker on the left side and purple reinker on the right side of gel printing plate; roll brayer gently from pink to purple to smooth out ink; stamp un-inked floral background stamp onto gel plate; remove stamp and put white card stock onto gel plate; lift print; adhere sentiment, ribbon, butterfly and gems as shown to black mat and card base.

Birds on Branch: Use the left over ink on the brayer from previous card to apply ink on the gel plate; place white card stock onto gel plate; lift print; stamp birds on branch with black ink; cut image with scallop oval die; adhere
sentiment, pearls and ribbon onto vellum before attaching to card base as shown. |

Sea Life: Apply Tri-color Brilliance Ink onto gel plate, roll brayer gently from green to blue from each side to smooth out ink; place white card stock onto gel plate; lift print; place wave stencil on top of gel plate; place scratch paper on top of stencil & gel plate and rub the back to transfer pattern; lift up scratch paper and stencil and place the previous lifted print onto the gel plate; rub to transfer the stencil image onto print; sponge blue ink over fish stencil onto center of print; cut white frame using corals & turtles die; Adhere frame and sentiment onto card base as shown.

Butterfly & Wild Flowers: Apply yellow, orange and pink Memento inks onto gel plate; roll brayer gently from light
dark to smooth out ink; lift print; stamp butterfly & wild flowers with black ink onto print; use scallop rectangle die to cut panel; adhere stamp sentiment and ribbon to
finish card as shown.
