Hello everyone,
I can't believe two weeks went by before I can get used to the time change. What a hectic week! Sorry I didn't get to update my post earlier. Well here are the cards we made 2 weeks ago. I will try to list the supplies used for each card within each brief description as requested.
This peacock card is made with a Hero Arts peacock stamp using Versamark clear embossing ink on white card stock. The Cloisonne (green & gold mix) embossing powder was added to cover the entire stamped image. Heat emboss with an embossing tool (heat gun). Adhere the embossed image onto gold card stock and adhere on top of diamond card front. Finish off with a gold sheer ribbon tied along the fold.
It wouldn't be Spring without doing a St. Patrick's card. Mainly because I love corned beef and cabbage, and it's also my nephew's birthday and (guess what?) his name is Patrick. ;o) The message was stamped using Hunter Green Memories ink on white card stock, mat with dark green card stock. The Shamrock paper was also matted with dark green card stock. Add a gold strip of ribbon on the bottom and 3 green gems on the right hand side. Hope Patrick likes his birthday card!
That's all for now. Monday March 19, 2012 will be our last class meeting for the Winter Session. The Spring Session will begin after Spring break on April 16, 2012 with only 3 class meetings ( 4/16, 4/30 & 5/14) due to Memorial Holiday in May. HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!

This yummy cupcakes card was made using the EK Success cupcake punch and 1" circle punch. The cupcake bottoms were punched out of poka dots brown card stock. The tops were punched out of blue, pink and green card stock to match the colors of the card base. The cupcakes were adhered with foam tape on punched 1" white circles. The edge of a brown w/ multicolor poka dots strip was created using the Fiskar border punch and adhere on the bottom half of the card. The white scallop circle was also punched with a Fiskar scallop circle punch. Add silver sentiment sticker to finish the card.
This iris folding yellow crocus flower was created using 4 different yellow pattern papers. Two yellow patterns (yellow poka dots & yellow checker) were used for the bulb portion in alternate fashion. The solid yellow paper strip was used for the top outside petals of the bloom and a tiny yellow flower pattern paper was used for the center of the bulb and the bloom. The floral decorative corners were punched with EK Success corner punch. The Iris Crocus card was adhered on top of an olive green pattern paper before adhering to the card base.It wouldn't be Spring without doing a St. Patrick's card.
